Watson Golf

An engineering-led golf brand, rebuilt as a storefront that customers, search engines, and AI assistants can all read with equal clarity.

Watson Golf designs patented swing-training aids rooted in biomechanics rather than tips and gimmicks. Its founder is an engineer who approached the golf swing as a geometry problem, and the brand voice follows from that conviction: Geometry. Physics. Not Luck.Div was brought in during the brand’s transition away from its former single-product Hanger Golf identity to rebuild the commerce experience from the ground up. The work spans a Shopify storefront, a separate Next.js learning application, and the structured-data layer that ties the two together into a single discoverable system.

Website Development paired with operational cleanup, that pays for itself.

We audited every paid application on the store against its actual contribution. A redundant marketing app configured for the old domain, collecting no subscribers and duplicating a feature the theme already provided, along with a half dozen other apps, retired for an annual saving of thousands, and fewer scripts loading on every page.

The affiliate program, by contrast, was identified as real revenue worth protecting, and the backlog throttling it was surfaced for action.

A Future-Forward AIO, SEO, GEO-driven data schema and content cleanup

Watson Golf now operates as one connected system rather than a storefront and a side project. A shopper can move from a product page into the chapter that explains the science behind it, and a reader working through the curriculum is guided toward the aid that drills each lesson — with the analytics in place to see that journey happen.

The brand’s expertise is, for the first time, expressed in a form that search engines and AI assistants can read and cite. The storefront finally looks and reads like the engineering behind the products, the recurring app spend has been brought back in line with what it returns, and the client’s own team can run day-to-day promotions without waiting on development.

The engagement is ongoing, with current work focused on deepening the review and rich-result coverage that strengthens the brand’s presence in search.
